Dead Signal Terms of Service
Version 1.1 — Effective 29 August 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of Dead Signal, including its Discord bot, web dashboard, clan-management features and related services (the “Service”). Dead Signal is operated by Fiora Butcher, an individual operating in the United Kingdom. Contact: Butcherfia@gmail.com. Business/contact address: 74 Earlsbury Gardens, B20 3AG, United Kingdom.
1. The Service
Dead Signal provides tools for Discord communities, including server administration, recruitment, operations, tasks, community features, moderation, analytics and related functionality. Features vary by plan and may evolve as the Service develops.
2. Discord dependency
Dead Signal is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with or operated by Discord. Use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own terms and policies. Features may be affected by Discord API availability, permissions, rate limits, policy changes or outages.
3. Accounts, eligibility and authority
You are responsible for your account and actions taken through it. You must only connect or manage Discord servers where you have the necessary authority. A person purchasing a paid plan must be at least 18 years old or have the purchase made or authorised by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. You must comply with Discord's applicable age requirements.
4. Acceptable use
You must use Dead Signal lawfully and in accordance with Discord's rules. You must not use the Service to harass others, distribute unlawful content, compromise accounts or systems, interfere with the Service, bypass plan limits or security controls, access another customer's data, or abuse automated features. Server owners remain responsible for how they configure and use their community and moderation tools.
5. Plans, prepaid terms and server slots
Dead Signal may offer Free, Standard and Pro plans. Paid access may be sold for one month, three months, six months, one year or Lifetime. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, fixed-term purchases are prepaid and do not automatically renew. Access ends at the end of the purchased period unless another term is purchased or a valid promotional entitlement applies. Server-slot limits and included features are determined by the applicable plan.
6. Lifetime licences
“Lifetime” means access to the purchased Dead Signal plan for the operational lifetime of that plan or a substantially equivalent Dead Signal service. It does not mean the biological lifetime of the customer, guarantee that Dead Signal will operate forever, or include every future product, add-on, third-party service or separately priced feature. If Dead Signal permanently discontinues the relevant service, Lifetime access ends with that service, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Lifetime access remains subject to these Terms.
7. Promotions and Signal rewards
Promo codes are subject to their stated eligibility, expiry and usage limits. Signal Fragments, Detected Signals, milestones and promotional rewards are loyalty/reward features. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, are not transferable or saleable between customers, and are not independently refundable. They may only be used for rewards Dead Signal makes available. Reward catalogues and future earning opportunities may change, but completed legitimate one-time milestone rewards will not be removed merely because a catalogue changes. Fraudulent, duplicated or technically erroneous rewards may be corrected.
8. Orders and payment status
Dead Signal currently does not have a live payment processor. An order marked AWAITING PAYMENT does not charge you and does not activate a paid plan. Before payment processing is enabled, checkout will clearly display the plan, duration, total price, applicable discounts and any other information required before purchase. A paid entitlement will only be activated after confirmed payment through the future authorised payment flow.
9. Cancellation and refunds
When paid checkout becomes available, Dead Signal will respect applicable UK consumer cancellation and refund rights. Where a consumer has a statutory cancellation period, the applicable right and method of cancellation will be explained before purchase and in the contract confirmation. If you expressly request a digital service to begin during a cancellation period, the consequences of that request, including any lawful proportionate charge or loss of a cancellation right after full performance where applicable, will be explained and separately acknowledged at checkout. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights for services that are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise protected by law. Promotional rewards and Signal currency themselves are not cash purchases and are not redeemable for cash refunds.
10. Customer content and community data
You retain responsibility for content and information submitted through your server or account. You permit Dead Signal to process that information as necessary to provide, secure, maintain and support the Service and comply with legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Availability and changes
Dead Signal aims to provide a reliable Service, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, Discord changes and technical incidents may temporarily affect features. Material changes affecting an existing paid purchase will be handled consistently with applicable law.
12. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, non-payment after billing is introduced, serious abuse, fraud, or repeated violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, proportionate action will be used. Termination for misuse does not remove statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to that rule, Dead Signal is not responsible for losses caused solely by Discord outages, third-party platform changes, misuse of customer-controlled settings, or events outside reasonable control where applicable law permits that limitation.
14. Changes to these Terms
The current version and effective date are published on this page. Historical checkout acceptance records identify the version accepted for an order. If a material change requires renewed agreement, Dead Signal may request acceptance of the new version before a future purchase or use of affected paid functionality.
15. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to the operator in the United Kingdom, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections and rights a customer has under applicable law. Nothing in this section is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory rights concerning where a dispute may be brought.
